4 Week Progress Check

So, after four weeks of adhering to the ketogenic diet, how have I done?  Well, I can hardly complain!


I did have one small blip, which is readily apparent in the picture (16 Aug).  That was caused when I arrived home from a trip late on the night of the 15th, and found the bag of potato chips my son had left at my house.  Only one blip is fine.  I really didn’t have a desire to cheat when I did it.  They were just there, and I needed to get rid of (most of) them!  All in all, I feel great, have energy, have no cravings, and no inappropriate hunger.

There are 60 days left of the 90 Day Keto Challenge, so I am only 1/3rd of the way there.  I should point out that I never thought I would be able to make my goal weight during 90 days, but I think I can lose up to 3/5’s of it, as I guessed it would take a minimum of 5 months to get there.  Of course, stalls, lapses, illness, etc. can all affect the time line.
